Buying a VPS is a legitimate choice if you intend to build the workflows yourself and already know n8n. We would rather tell you that than sell you a build you did not need.

Ask us directlyMost of what people use it for: moving an order into a warehouse system, pushing a courier status change to the customer's phone, recording a payment in the books, raising a purchase order when stock runs low, or feeding leads into a CRM. The difference from a fixed integration is that it is built for your actual systems and your actual rules, including the awkward exceptions.
It can be, but not by default. An unpatched n8n instance with broad execution permissions and credentials in environment files is a liability. There have been critical remote-code-execution advisories against n8n itself, including one tracked as CVE-2026-21858. Patching deliberately, restricting execution, and keeping secrets out of environment files are the baseline — not optional extras.
Either. We can run it on infrastructure you control, or on ours under a managed agreement. What we will not do is hand over an unpatched instance and call it done.
It alerts. Failed workflows notify a human rather than retrying quietly, and the alert says which workflow, which step, and what the last successful run was. For anything revenue-bearing we also build the failure path so the order is not simply lost.
Every build is quoted against the workflows you actually need, because the cost depends on how many systems are involved and how much of your process is unusual. A single focused workflow and a connected set are different pieces of work, and we would rather size them properly than publish a number that does not apply to you.
Often yes. n8n is the right tool when the logic changes often or needs to be maintained by your own team without a release cycle. If the integration is a single fixed call that will never change, a plain integration is cheaper and more reliable. We will tell you when that is the case.
